TRUTH: Voices of Women Changed by Cancer is the featured book in WMRA’s February Books & Brews! Join us at Pale Fire Brewing Company in Harrisonburg for an engaging dialogue around the healing power of writing. Women from our workshops will share their own cancer journeys and how writing has impacted their lives. It’s a life-affirming hour around a topic that touches us all.
In this webinar, UVa alumna and Associate Professor Charlotte Matthews (Col ’88, Associate Professor, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies) will offer both practical and notional thoughts on silence. She will argue that, like the Galapagos penguin, silence is on the endangered list, and we need to take it off. You will walk away from this spacious webinar with useful tools to invite more silence into your life and into the lives of your family and colleagues.
